- Analyse safety data and information sources to identify emerging safety trends and recommend safety improvement initiatives.
- Proactively reach out to site personnel to coach individuals in site safety systems
- Actively attend various safety routines across site
- Conduct training sessions across various safety systems.
- Support investigation quality through maintaining capability in investigation facilitators.
- Monitor for and support with Safety related operational needs.
- Support field leadership and safety culture programs
- Promote and support hazard awareness and identification
- Implement safety improvement strategies and practices
- Support the sites Health and Safety Representative Process.
- Previous experience in a safety role.
- A tertiary qualification, or equivalent industry experience managing safety.
- Certificate IV in OHS.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with an ability to influence at multiple levels in an organisation.
- Coaching and mentoring skills with a genuine desire to help people, achieve outcomes and support continuous improvement.
- Experience with facilitating safety incident investigations.
- Sound data analytical skills.
- A current C class motor licence or equivalent Australian state motor vehicle licence.
