ABOUT THE ROLE

This role is a Permanent DIDO from our Boddington Bauxite Mine, is located a short drive from the community of Boddington (10 minutes), Pinjarra (50 minutes) and the City of Mandurah (1 hour).

As the Specialist Senior Mining, you will be responsible to provide technical support and guidance to frontline team within the BBM team. Support provided through managing operational guidance to crews, supervisors & superintendents for supporting enabling activities.
More specifically, statutory compliance checks and auditing, facilitating incident investigations, supporting and working with crew HSR`s to increase capability, managing SRS and external reporting requirements

Other key responsibilities include, but aren't limited to:

• Accountabilities associated with site Quarry Manager
• Support frontline leaders to deliver quality Safety Interactions that drive improved outcomes.
• Responsible for planning, executing, monitoring, controlling and closing out improvement projects for the Mining execution team.
• Conduct regular compliance checks to ensure adherence to production processes and work instructions.

ABOUT YOU

You will have experience and demonstrate capability in the following:

• Quarry Manager Ticket essential
• Experience in mining and maintenance practices in open cut operations required.
• Trained in ICAM investigation methodology

Qualifications for this position are:

• Minimum years' experience in a similar role 5 years
• Demonstrated experience in Risk Management
