What you will bring to the role:
- Currently in your 2nd, 3rd or 4th year of a Speech Pathology University Degree.
- Student registration with Speech Pathology Australia (SPA).
- Current drivers licence and ability to use own care for mobile visits
- Current Working with Children’s Check and Police Check
- NDIS Worker Screener Check
- Current First Aid & CPR
- Confidence in your paediatric knowledge, experience and skills
- Strong problem solving, organisational and time management skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a busy team.
- Insight and flexibility in your learning and growth as a clinician.
What your work week will look like:
- Developing and delivering therapy within the home and community environments.
- Undertaking risk assessments whilst working with clients in the community
- Progress note, management plan and report writing.
- Developing and making resources to support your clients.
- Participating in supervision and case conferences to support clients holistically and develop your skills as a clinician.
- Predominately mobile with minimum 1 day in the clinic.
- Getting involved in our team lunches, dress up days and fun activities
- Developing and running school holiday group programs.
- Learning through our internal PD program.
