Role Description
We are currently seeking a contract Speech Language Pathologist to join our team. The Speech Language Pathologist will be responsible for providing gender affirming speech therapy via telehealth. This is a remote role, and day to day tasks include performing assessments, diagnosing and treating voice disorders, however the largest part of this role is providing gender affirming voice therapy to our clients. You may also be asked to see a teenager and/or clients with social difficulties such as those with ASD, and an openness to see these clients is desirable. A genuine interest and/or experience in this field is necessary due to the nature of our caseload.
We are searching for someone on a casual or permanent part time basis to work 2-3 days per week.
 
Qualifications
Experience and/or highly interested in gender-affirming speech therapy
Ability to provide high-quality telehealth services
Bachelor or Master's degree in speech-language pathology
Certified practicing SPA member
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Strong documentation and organizational skills
Experience working with voice
Experience working with the LGBTQIA+ community is a plus
 
Pay
· Pay will be above award level, depending on years of experience.
