An exciting opportunity has risen within our company at our clinic in Wyndham Vale for a full-time or part-time Occupational Therapist to join our innovative team. We have a growing caseload of preschool and school aged clients, between the ages of 3-12 years who have support needs and are looking for a highly motivated Occupational Therapist who enjoys working in paediatrics to support them.
Key Responsibilities include:
- Can assess clients using informal and formal standardised assessments
- Assessment, therapeutic planning, and intervention
- Willingness to work from a relationship-based approach
- Happy to work in a neurodiverse affirming practice
To excel in this position, you will have the following skills:
- Fully registered with Speech Pathology Australia
- Paediatric experience
- Experience working as a qualified/registered Speech Pathologist
- Experience with NDIS clients, writing reports
- Be able to work in a collaborative team environment
- Highly motivated and positive
- Willingness to work across the lifespan
The successful candidate will be joining a team of OT's as well as other disciplines. In this role you will be working predominantly in the clinic with one day of site visits. As a fully qualified therapist, you will receive a respectable remuneration package based on the award and level of experience. A professional development package of $1000 per year is on offer and ongoing support from highly skilled and experienced Occupational Therapists as well as the practice owners and colleagues from our Cranbourne clinic.
