Our Client, a leading not-for-profit Early Intervention disability provider are currently looking for an experienced Speech Pathologist to join their team based in the southwest of Sydney.
This role will involve;
- Engaging with Diverse Learners and Their Support Systems: Collaborate with families, teachers, and other professionals to support a wide range of children, including those with learning difficulties and disabilities, by providing tailored interventions and resources.
- Clinical Assessment and Intervention: Utilize assessment tools and evidence-based practices to conduct thorough screenings, assessments, and diagnoses for children with speech, language, and communication needs, followed by implementing effective intervention strategies.
- Professional Development and Mentorship: Provide clinical supervision and mentoring to early career Speech Pathologists, fostering their growth and development, while also planning and delivering professional learning sessions for the team based on individual expertise.
- Multidisciplinary Collaboration: Work closely within a multidisciplinary team of psychologists and educators to ensure holistic support for students, contributing insights and expertise to collaborative assessments, interventions, and consultations.
- Customer Relationship Management and Goal Achievement: Deliver exceptional customer service, establishing and maintaining positive relationships with clients, while also meeting individual and team Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to contribute to the strategic growth of the compan
- Relevant qualification in Speech Pathology (Bachelor or Masters).
- New graduate, early career and experienced Speech Pathologists
- Certified Practicing Member of SPA
- A passion for working with children
- Strong knowledge of evidence-based practice in paediatric assessments and interventions including speech, language and fluency disorders.
- Willingness to travel with a current driver’s license and access to a comprehensively insured vehicle.
- A number of probity checks are required including holding a current working with children and undertaking a National police checks.
