This position will see you working as part of the experienced and supportive team at Moree Community Health Service as a Speech Pathologist. Providing a high-quality clinical service, you will ensure optimal health outcomes are reached for all clients and their families/carers. This role is 0.4FTE.If you are looking for more hours, we can further offer an additional 0.2FTE under residential Aged Care servicing Warialda and Bingara Multipurpose Centres.You will receive onsite training, mentoring and support from experienced Speech Pathologists.Where you'll be working:
The Speech Pathology team services the Moree and Warialda acute, community and aged care services and provides outreach school programs to Moree, Toomelah and Mungindi. With a high Indigenous population, the department has established strong working relationships with community partners such as Kiah Preschool, the local Aboriginal preschool in Moree, and schools in the Aboriginal communities of Toomelah and Boggabilla. In recognition of their collaborative approach and innovative service delivery, the department have previously been a finalist at the NSW Health Aboriginal Health Awards, and in 2020 they were awarded the ‘Commitment to Aboriginal Health’ award at the HNELHD Allied Health Awards.We are looking to expand our services into residential aged care at Warialda and Bingara Multipurpose Centres.Requirements:
- Must hold a bachelor or post graduate degree in speech pathology which provides eligibility for membership of Speech Pathology Australia, or other qualification deemed equivalent by the employer.
- Four weeks annual leave (pro-rata for part-time employees)
- Superannuation contributions 11%
This vacancy is eligible for an Attraction and Relocation package that includes the following*:
- Attraction incentive paid as a Rural and Regional fortnightly allowance of up to $10,000 for the first 12-months
- Retention incentive of up to $10,000 thereafter annually
