We are currently seeking a permanent part time Speech Pathologistwho shares our commitment to excellence by using evidence-informed practice and up to date professional knowledge to deliver the highest level of service to families.
This role will be based in our highly regarded Outpost Program - a program which provides comprehensive in-school support for students with hearing loss who use oral communication from K-12 at our partner primary and secondary schools around the Perth Metropolitan area.
This uniqueSpeech Pathologist position works in conjunction with multi-disciplinary team (including teachers, audiologists, education assistants, occupational therapists, psychologists) who focus on maximising the classroom and playground participation of individual students of varying ages with a hearing loss.
The successful candidate will be a collaborative and nurturing professional who aligns with our organisational values and supports our child safety practices. The confidence to work independently or as part of a small team is also required. PROMPT and/or Hanen training are highly desirable.
This part time role is required to work on Monday, Tuesday and a half day Wednesday. As this role supports children in schools across the metropolitan area, access to a reliable vehicle and a WA Drivers Licence are required.
