Apply now and access flexible work arrangements with shifts across weekdays and weekends to suit your needs.About the RoleAn exciting opportunity exists for a clinician with acute and/or rehabilitation experience to join Pindara Private Hospital and The Southport Private Hospital's Speech Pathology department.Working as part of a dynamic multidisciplinary team, the casual Speech Pathologist will be responsible for the assessment and management of a diverse acute and rehabilitation caseload across the two sites.Your Skills and Experience
- Minimum of two (2) years' experience working in an adult acute or rehabilitation setting
- Experience in VFSS and/or FEES is highly desirable
- Experience in SPEAK OUT! or LSVT is highly desirable
- Excellent interpersonal, communication and written skills
- Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively as part of a team and in co-operation with others
- Clinical skills in comprehensive assessment, management and discharge planning
- Professional behaviour and conduct which reflects self-initiative, confidentiality, self-evaluation and commitment to professional development
- Good working knowledge of community support services
- Skills in Microsoft Office suite of programs
- Ability to manage a demanding workload, and effectively prioritise tasks
