About the Role:

If you are open to relocating, we are offering up to $10,000 AUD to cover expenses in moving to within a 60-minute drive to one of our sites (located at multiple locations across New South Wales, Victoria and Queensland in Australia).

We are looking for passionate Speech Pathologists to join our dedicated and professional team. You will use your skills and knowledge in Speech Pathology to provide flexible family-centred services to children and adults with a disability and their families, within the context of a trans- or multi-disciplinary team and to maintain efficient and effective practices in line with Aruma policies and procedures. Negotiable annual salary AUD $85k - $105k + super + salary packaging + employee benefits.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess the communication needs of children and adults using appropriate assessments and observation processes.
  • Develop professional relationships with customers and their families, which respect individual styles and acknowledge their strengths and capabilities.
  • Support customers/families to identify their priorities and make informed decisions.
  • Participate in initial assessment interviews to determine appropriate ongoing service plan for the child/customer and their family.
  • To participate in the formulation, implementation and evaluation of individualised service plans.

About You:

  • A recognised Degree in Speech and Language Therapy (equivalent to Aust. Bachelor of Speech Pathology)
  • Current member or eligible to register with relevant professional association, with willingness to seek SPA registration in Australia.

  • Demonstrated ability work collaboratively in a team environment.
