The Role

Help shape our strategic infrastructure priorities and create high quality Sport and Leisure facilities that are vibrant and thriving places!

This role provides short and long-term strategic advice and infrastructure solutions to support our growing community and plays a pivotal role in developing Council’s Sport and Leisure Infrastructure delivery priorities, policies and strategies.

It is directly involved in the planning, design and construction stages of Sport and Leisure infrastructure projects (such as sporting reserves and pavilions, leisure centres, indoor and outdoor sports courts and informal recreation facilities) and works closely with community stakeholders, service owners, developers, and other external partners to ensure Council’s facilities meet the increasing demand for sporting facilities in our community.
