As the Sports Flooring Sales Segment Manager, you'll be at the forefront of revolutionising the game, ensuring top-notch performance on the court, field, and beyond. Partnering with some of the biggest national sports clients, you will lead and drive our Sport Segment to success. This brilliant opportunity is a role that could define your already impressive career.You will take an insight-driven approach to the identification of partnership opportunities and key category targets and build relationships with key decision makers to understand how Gerflor can deliver on their strategic objectives.Working closely with the Commercial Sales Director, you'll be an integral part of a collaborative team that engages various departments within the organisation to create and deliver sports flooring solutions that support revenue generation. Your responsibilities:If you're passionate about driving success, thrive in a dynamic environment, and possess a knack for turning opportunities into lasting partnerships, read on for details on your responsibilities: Develop and maintain relationships with clients & partners in the sporting industry, including specifiers, end users, builders & developers, and transactional customers. Understand the unique needs and requirements of clients to provide tailored solutions. Maximise revenue, achieve or exceed sales targets through active and well-planned lead generation and conversion. Know, understand, and have a presence in your designated markets. Expand on the growth strategy for the segment and drive new business using affiliations and networks to penetrate the market further. Represent the Gerflor Sport business at trade shows, functions and represent the business on appropriate industry groups. Coordinate sales forecasts to assist with profit projections and the Demand Planning process. About you:Interpersonal Skills A passion for sport, and hold relationships with National Sports Associations Strong analytical skills, a love of data and metrics Entrepreneurial thinking and a can-do-attitude Deep understanding of the athlete and customer landscape A successful track record of maintaining existing relationships while building new business with concrete financial results Demonstrate excellent communication skills, including active listening, negotiation and influencing skills.
