DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
About Us: Norwood Flames Basketball Club was established in 1946 and is the biggest club in South Australia. Boasting 70+ district teams including two NBL1 state league teams we also operate the Adelaide Community Basketball Association. The ACBA has 550+ grassroot teams that compete over the week at multiple venues around the North-Eastern suburbs across four competitions, we also have an extra 250 participants each term in our Aussie Hoops programs.
ACBA Court Supervisor
• Assist referees on game day
• Ensure iPads are charged, updated and operational
• Help and assist with team payments
• Answer enquiries
• Helping maintain the cleanliness of the office
• Assist over the Easter weekend with the Easter Classic Tournament
Norwood Administration Assistant
• Provide administrative support to Operations Manager and Junior Coaching Director
• Assist with scheduling and coordinating meetings
• Organise and maintain files and documents
• Greet and assist visitors
• Help with general office tasks such as ordering supplies and mailing letters
• Support the team with research and other projects
• Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor
NBL1 Game Day Staff
• Provide assistance to NBL1 General Manager on game day operations
• Scan and sell tickets
• Sell merchandise
• Assist with stocking bar
• Set up and pack down
• Other tasks as needed

SALARY
As the successful candidate, you will receive:
$19,000 – $25,000 plus 11% Superannuation
- National Training Wage Award
- Fully Funded Qualification

- People with tertiary qualifications need not apply. Current university applicants may have to defer their studies to be eligible for this traineeship.
- This position is best suited to a recent secondary school leaver.
