We invite applications from interested candidates for a casual administration position (minimum 24 hours per week).
J Adams Plumbing and Gas Fitting is a locally owned and operated company that strives to deliver quality workmanship and a high level of customer service to our clients, working closely with them to fulfill their needs and requirements.
The Administrative Officer will act as the point of contact for all clients and employees, providing administrative support and managing their queries.
As an Administration Officer, you will be required to provide a range of administrative support duties including but not limited to:
- Receptionist duties including schedule management and answering phone enquiries.
- Managing accounts payable and receivable
- Bank statement reconciliation
- Preparing payroll
- Prepare and modify documents including correspondence, reports, drafts, and emails.
- Invoicing and work order processing
- Updating database information
- Maintaining a clean and organized office space
The successful candidate will have excellent organizational planning skills, attention to detail, willing to show initiative and have a thorough approach to work. Time management, and the ability to multi-task and prioritize work is also essential. We expect the candidate to have excellent written and verbal communication skills, are proficient in Microsoft Office and are extremely professional in their role. Ultimately, you should be able to ensure our administrative activities run smoothly daily.
