Opportunity for a Sales Professional with a passion for sports to develop their career with a dynamic specialist sports infrastructure company who has cornered their market. 

A bit about us

Established for over 15yrs we are a respected leader in supplying, installing and maintaining sports infrastructure to our established client base. This includes, Local Government facilities, Primary and Secondary Schools, Universities and private sporting facilities. Over the years, we have been involved in events such as the 2018 Commonwealth Games, World League Volleyball, World Cup Hockey, and the Australian Institute of Sport. 

The Role

Due to sustained growth we are looking for a sales professional who can; 

  • Maintain and develop our existing client base
  • Identify and convert upcoming business opportunities for our core market
  • Develop relationships with key stakeholders within the industry
  • To be able to raise Quotes, convert to Sales Orders to Purchase Orders and then Invoicing. As well as freight quotes and delivery confirmation.

Position Requirements

  • Ability to work honestly unsupervised. Honesty is a key requirement.
  • A proven track record in a sales environment, including business development and leveraging off an existing client base.
  • Also will be continually posting to Social media and monitoring our advertising performance making changes where required. Use of Social Media posts and platforms is important.
  • Main role is to sell Sports Equipment such as goals, posts, pads, nets accessories etc as well as reviewing Tenders, Product Specification for projects.
  • You will have exceptional communication skills both verbal and written
  • Strong organisational skills coupled with proven capability with Microsoft Office 365, Accounting Program, Excel, Word, Publisher, CRM etc. CRM is important to keep developing our client base.
  • Ability to cold call potential customers to develop ongoing sales relationships.
  • Must work confidently with Government, Councils, Clubs, Resellers, Schools, Universities, Daycare Centres, Court Builders etc
  • Most importantly a love and understanding of all things sports!
