Sql Developer / Reporting - Contract Role (6+Months)

Due to continued demand across the business, we are now seeking a SQL Developer to join the team based in the Melbourne CBD. Working alongside a strong analytics team, this role will require you to work across SQL development and reporting within an on-prem environment.

Working alongside other SQL developers as well as data analytics professionals, you will be involved in activities that will include:

• Looking at different options and solutions for addressing business problems.
• Working with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) and other techincal specialists.
• Perform feasibility analysis of proposed user cases.
• Fine-tune detailed design and requirements.
• Develop and productionise the use case to ensure a successful transition of all developed applications.
• Produce back-end reporting.

Along with your strong communication skills and ability to work with a range of stakeholders, you will have the following skills to allow you success in this role: 

• Strong experience within the enterprise-level organisation in SQL databases and development.
• Understanding of supportable, debugable, production-quality code.
• Understanding of application automation, release lifecycle knowledge, and code control methodologies.
• Python programming and ideally ‘R’
• Reporting from the backend.
