Senior Ecologist - Multiple Opportunities Available!
Location: FLEXIBLE! This team lives and breathes workplace flexibility. As long as you can easily get to an airport and don't mind the exciting field work trips, the skies the limit. The ideal locations are QLD, Northern QLD, and NSW.
About the Role:
- As an integral part of the Ecology team, you'll cultivate lasting partnerships across sectors including resources, infrastructure, government, and defense.
- Lead and mentor a team of field Ecologists and Fauna specialists, leveraging your expertise to drive excellence.
- Oversee Ecological projects from inception to delivery, encompassing surveys, assessments, and technical reports.
- Assist in proposal preparation and submission processes.
- Stay abreast of environmental regulations and industry standards, ensuring compliance and best practices.
- A degree in Ecology, Zoology, or Natural Resource Management, or equivalent A minimum of 5 years' postgraduate experience in a related field (preferred).
- Strong consulting and project management acumen.
- Proven track record in preparing and managing biological assessment reports.
- Leadership or managerial experience (desired for Team Leader roles).
- Readiness to undertake fieldwork Valid driver's license, White Card, and First Aid Certification Ideal.
