About the RoleThe Senior Finance Business Partner is pivotal in leading a team of Finance Business Partners to facilitate the annual budget, ten-year financial plan, and project portfolio delivery. This role offers an exciting opportunity to utilize strong analytical and collaborative skills to provide financial management advice, reporting, and analysis. Duties: Mentor and lead Finance Business Partners, offering strategic advice based on financial and operational insights.Deliver monthly management reports, pinpointing actions for enhancing financial performance.Collaborate with the Enterprise Project Management Office on Council's ten-year project portfolio.Provide expert financial counsel to Project Managers on business cases and project financials.Support the development of the annual budget and ten-year financial plan.Provide timely and meaningful reporting to the Executive, Councillors, and the Community. Skills and Experience: Minimum three years' experience in a Senior Finance Business Partner (or equivalent) role with team leadership experience.Professional membership to CPA Australia or the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Australia (or similar).Tertiary qualifications in a finance-related discipline (essential).
