As a Staff Specialist, you will be responsible for providing comprehensive obstetric and gynaecological care to patients.You will have the opportunity to work in a collaborative and supportive environment, delivering high-quality healthcare services. Your expertise and leadership will contribute to the success of our Obstetrics and Gynaecology department.This is a position at the Townsville Hospital and entails delivering exceptional clinical and non-clinical services for the benefit of patients and clients, alongside contributing to the education of future healthcare professionals and advancing surgical training and research.The role involves leading and overseeing medical services in alignment with specialty standards, professional ethics, and THHS and Queensland Health policies, across hospital, community, and outreach settings.Requirements
- Medical degree and specialist qualifications in Obstetrics and Gynaecology.
- Current registration with the Medical Board of Australia and specialist recognition.
- Proven experience as a Staff Specialist in Obstetrics and Gynaecology.
- Excellent clinical skills and ability to provide high-quality patient care.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team.
