Provide Specialist Rehabilitation clinical services and medical leadership in the Geriatric and Rehabilitation Services Surgical, Treatment and Rehabilitation Service (STARS)
To supervise/oversee one medical admitting team.
To improve the current services that the Geriatric and Rehabilitation Services provides to STARS, Royal Brisbane and Women's Hospital (RBWH) and Metro North Health (MNH).
Supervise and educate undergraduates and postgraduates in the service.
Leadership of multidisciplinary teams involved in the care of patients who are under the responsibility of this position.
To assist the Clinical Director to manage the resources of the service to best meet clinical workload and financial targets.
To actively participate in quality assurance and continuing education.
To assist the Clinical Director with the administration and day to day running of the Geriatric and Rehabilitation Services.
To initiate or assist with the establishment of new services. Participation in the implementation and evaluation of new and existing services.
To initiate and assist with new research projects in Rehabilitation medicine.

Previous training and experience in Rehabilitation Medicine. Experience in Tertiary level inpatient and outpatient care is desirable.
