An Australian Federal Government agency is seeking a Stakeholder Engagement Officer to effectively engage, negotiate, build on existing or creating new relationships with internal and external stakeholders. The successful Stakeholder Engagement Officer will secure a contract until June 2024 with the view to be extended and a rewarding hourly rate.
The successful Stakeholder Engagement Officer will be responsible for, but not limited to:
- Participating in project management administration, including project reporting and procurement management of goods and services to support the project.
- Managing related project risks and issues with the Director and Senior Executive, by identifying risks early and using appropriate mitigation and resolution strategies.
- Following finance and budget management processes, completing administration, and reporting tasks, including use of associated systems (such as SAP and Concur).
To be successful, the Stakeholder Engagement Officer must have/ be experienced in the following:
- Prior experience in project management and/or policy development
- Ability to develop and foster strong interpersonal relationships
- Contribute to the planning and implementation of policies
- Excellent organisational and communication skills
