We’re on the hunt for a self- driven and motivated team player who loves owning their work, to join our Snack Brands Australia team in the role of State Account Manager Independents. Reporting to the National Business Manager - Independents, this full time permanent role will be based in our Larapinta Office with a mix of hybrid working conditions and being out on the road.

The State Account Manager Independents is responsible in delivering profitable sales, financial, customer and supply targets. You will do this by developing a strong customer relationship and strategic account plans to meet company targets and objectives whilst becoming an integral member of the National Independents team.
What you’ll be responsible for:
- Building, developing and maintaining key customer relationships –continual customer engagement
- Driving Sales through commitment to different accounts
- Managing promotional activity – You will be the source of communication
- Achieving budget objectives, managing monthly trade spend accruals variance and claims and providing revenue and trade spend forecasts
- Drive execution with close alignment to the state sales team
- Supporting company to align strategies with the customer strategy, providing assistance to team in AOP and Strategic Account planning process, actively driving new business opportunities and identifying ways of driving profitable customer growth
Ideally Account Sales experience within FMCG or Field, primarily in the independents area such as Metcash QLD State Office and Key State Based MSO’s (or equivalent knowledge and skills gained through relevant commercial experience!)
- Sound understanding of NPD process and execution of new lines through to shelf
- An analytical mindset – you enjoy using data to find insights and inform decisions
- Excellent communication and relationship building skills - you love working cross functionally and value the input of others
- Experience in Scan Data, MS Excel, PowerPoint
- Exceptional organizational, time management and problem solving skills – juggling multiple balls is one of your strengths!
- Accountability – you own your decisions and can be counted on to do what you say you will
