In this full-time role, you have the opportunity to put your leadership and waste industry experience into action to help deliver jobs that care for people and the planet, a mission worth committing to.
We are seeking our next Resource Recovery Australia State Manager, who will deliver strong leadership across each of our New South Wales sites. Ideally, the successful candidate will be based between the Illawarra or Mid Coast region. This may be a hybrid role based on the location of the successful applicant.
The successful candidate will be the driving force in creating and maintaining strong relationships with our principal partners as well as ensuring we are meeting contractual obligations. This role will lead the teams to exceed for client expectations, drive successful outcomes for our employees and the environment.
This role will provide you with the opportunity to see some amazing parts of NSW all whilst you are playing a pivotal role in waste diversion and supporting the people within our Community.

We keep waste out of landfill, we grow and distribute fair food, and we provide community service to those who need it most.

About You
- Significant relevant management and operational experience coupled with suitable qualifications.
- Excellent people management, relationship building and negotiation skills.
- Demonstrated understanding and application work WHS practices, preferably in waste management.
- Proven competency in operational planning, strategic and innovative thinking, resource management ad budget management.
- A genuine commitment to people and the planet through employment and community development.
- A commitment to developing Aboriginal leadership.
- The ability to represent Resource Recovery Australia in a positive manner.
