Renowned as the foremost provider of logistics solutions for Fixtures, Fittings, and Equipment (FF&E), they excel in 3PL and transport services for store development, offering specialised project logistics solutions for both retail and commercial sectors.
THE ROLE
Based in Kilsyth the Victorian State Manager will be responsible for comprehensive oversight of VIC's operation, facility, and customer relations, reporting directly to the Chief Operating Officer. The successful candidate will be tasked with identifying opportunities for improvement and efficiency's, while prioritising safety in the execution of all activities across various operations and sectors.

DUTIES
- Delivering robust leadership and effective management to the entire staff, ensuring seamless operation and adherence to all systems, policies, and procedures.
- Taking charge of financial performance, with complete accountability for the Profit and Loss (P&L) costs within the state.
- Implementing efficient workforce planning, strategically deploying resources to manage operational costs and surpass expectations.
- Overseeing staff performance and progress, fostering a high-performing and motivated team.
- Staying informed about relevant legislation in the workplace and demonstrating the ability to act in accordance with, but not limited to, Workplace Health and Safety (WHS) guidelines, Chain of Responsibility (CoR), Duty of Care responsibilities, and all company policies and procedures.
ABOUT YOU
- 5+ years’ experience in a logistics/ warehousing management
- Sales/ Account Management experience is desirable
- Hands-on experience with warehouse management software and databases
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both verbally and written.
- Ability to build client relationships
- Ability to manage multiple tasks to meet deadlines and effectively balance priorities
- Excellent time management and organisational skills.
- Eager to learn and grow within the role
- High attention to detail
