The Opportunity

As the State Service Delivery Manager – NSW/ACT, you will play a key leadership role within our Recruitment and Management Services (RMS) division. Reporting directly to the National Service Delivery Manager, you will oversee the day-to-day operations of our Business, including service delivery, business development, key account management and quality assurance. You will lead the development and execution of state-level strategies for our RMS division, ensuring effective implementation across the entire NSW and ACT region.

You will also be responsible for but not limited to:

  • Ensuring the safety of apprentices, trainees, and employers throughout their journey from induction to completion.
  • Optimising team member case load and activity to ensure additional capacity is allocated acquiring new clients/hosts in collaboration with the National Sales Team.
  • Effective account management and issue resolution with identified national clients.
  • Strategic engagement with local schools, Registered Training Organisations, government departments and community bodies.
  • Improving apprentice and trainee completion rates.
  • Ensuring compliance with RMS policies and procedures.
  • Developing and implementing strategies to improve the experience of MEGT clients and employees.

About you

You will be a strong people leader, demonstrating a track record of success in a comparable role. You are known for your adaptability, tenacity and commitment to innovation. You will find fulfillment in building strong relationships, improving business performance, and have a passion for the Group Training Model, including:

  • A proven people leader, capable of building a strong culture focused on effort, accountability, and dedication to high standards of service delivery.
  • A results driven individual with a proven track record of successful client acquisition and superior business development skills.
  • Familiarity with the VET sector, including current trends and factors influencing the apprenticeship sector.
  • Proficient negotiation skills and a knack for influencing, particularly in managing large-scale change initiatives.
  • A track record of achieving business growth, through both the acquisition of new business and organic growth of existing clients.
  • Highly developed communication and interpersonal skills to establish positive relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Robust strategic planning skills and experience, complemented by a drive for operational excellence.
  • Previous exposure to talent acquisition and pre-employment programs for disadvantaged or underrepresented cohorts.
  • Demonstrated success in the effective use of process management technology and CRM systems including high level of digital literacy with multiple Microsoft Office applications.
  • Ability to travel on an as required basis to facilitate client and staff meetings, events and training.
  • Current driver licence or ability to travel.
