Our client is a privately owned leading timber and building materials wholesaler who distributes across Southeast QLD through independent timber, manufacturing, and associated channels.
With an existing client base and extensive opportunities, you'll provide the QLD market with quality products and high-level service to support your new business development campaign. This is a heavily focused hunting role, where you'll be responsible for all direct selling. The role will be fast-paced, hands-on, and involve working in a close team environment.
Reporting to the general manager, you'll be part of executing strategic plans and leveraging many years of experience across national group accounts and independent resellers.
This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced sales leader or professional wanting to take the next step in their career.
Your daily responsibilities will include:
- Building relationships based on trust and excellent service
- Being strategic and precise in planning your sales activity
- Be motivated, determined, and able to work independently
- Identifying and winning new opportunities
- Have proven success in selling value in a competitive environment
- Stock control management to ensure orders are on time in full
Receive extensive onboarding and product training that will support you to be financially rewarded for your results.
NB: Experience with direct selling in the building/construction is essential.
