AddressJumbuck are a fourth generation Australian business, operating large scale cattle and sheep properties throughout the country.
Our Commonwealth Hill Station is located 5 hours’ drive northwest of Port Augusta in the Glendambo region. The station runs around 30,000 head of Merino sheep covering an area of 1 million hectares serviced by our permanent of staff of 8 that can increase during busy periods.
We seek a full-time cook who will be responsible for providing home-style and nutritious breakfast, lunch, dinner and smokos for a small crew of 8 on working days, while ensuring the outfitted cookhouse is kept clean and tidy.
The position is well suited to those who are creative, enjoy forward planning and are passionate about the outback and have an appreciation for rural living.
If you’ve had experience preparing meals for groups, prior experience working on a station or regional roadhouse or other similar setting, we would love to hear from you!
Single person accommodation with aircon, utilities, internet, 24-hour power and food are provided. An attractive day rate is on offer along with ongoing bonus structure and 6 weeks annual leave.
