Job description
The Office of the Director of Public Prosecution (ODPP) represents the State of Queensland in criminal cases. The ODPP's significant responsibility is to prosecute criminal matters in the High Court of Australia, Court of Appeal (Qld), Supreme Court, Mental Health Court, and District Court, as well as the Children's Court of Queensland, and the Magistrates Court in limited locations and matters.
The DNA File Review Project team has been established for the purpose of responding to the recommendations from the Queensland Government's Commission of Inquiry into Forensic DNA Testing in Queensland, as they relate to the work of the ODPP.
About your opportunity:
The Statistics and Reporting Officer provides support to the project team by tracking and monitoring the completion of review activities and providing statistical analysis of project outcomes to inform ongoing activities, and meet statutory reporting requirements.
The successful candidate will be a team player who demonstrates:
- Good analytical skills and the ability to interpret statistic data
- Advanced Microsoft skills. Power Bi would be an advantage
- Good communication skills
- Professional ethics and integrity.
