The role
We are seeking enthusiastic and motivated Statutory Planners to join the City Development Department. Reporting to the Team Leader – Statutory Planning, the you will be responsible for:
- Assessment and management of a range of statutory planning applications that reflects the diversity of Kingston’s land uses and built form.
- Providing accurate and timely responses to customer enquiries and other stakeholders by phone, in person, or in writing.
- Processing other planning related applications or enquiries, including (with support) preparation and presentation of submissions to the Victorian Civil and administrative Tribunal.
About you
You will have:
- Excellent communication and time management skills are integral to this position
- Belief in putting the Customer First to achieve the best outcomes for the municipality.
- Candidates must have a relevant tertiary qualification in Town Planning or similar discipline. Experience as a Statutory Planner is advantageous.
