Key Responsibilities:As the Principal Specialist - Development Assessment and Engineering, your key responsibilities will include: Providing expert leadership and management to the Development Assessment, Development Engineering, and Business Support teams, ensuring compliance with legislative requirements, Council's Corporate Plan, Operational Plan, and Planning Schemes. Exercising strategic oversight to guarantee the professional and timely execution of programs, reports, and site assessments. Formulating and updating policies, operational guidelines, and providing input to the strategic planning team to ensure best practices. Preparing advice and fostering positive relationships with Local, State, and Federal Government Departments, as well as other Statutory Authorities, in accordance with development legislation.
