In this role, you will be responsible for construction fabrication & reinforcing steel sales across WA in a true end-to-end account management role.
You will have business goals within your region that will be continually tailored to establish and improve relationships with new and existing customers.
Duties and responsibilities
- Build and maintain relationships and identify opportunities to supply materials.
- Generate and convert new leads.
- Develop and maintain a structured call plan within your allocated customer database.
- Maintain and enhance a positive working culture and environment.
- Identify and follow up on all new business.
- Resolve customer issues, disputes, complaints, both onsite and offsite in a prompt and professional manner.
- Proactively promote Solution Steel brand and promote all products within.
- Maintain accurate and up to date customer information.
- Develop and maintain a positive working relationship with all internal staff that will enhance the customer experience.
Skill and experience
- At least two (2) years' experience in the Construction Industry
- Strong experience in B2B sales
- Strong ability to promote new customers and identify new opportunities
- Well-developed interpersonal skills and has the ability to build rapport
- Able to find ways to work with your customers to pass value to the proposition
- Strong team player with strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Understanding the importance of and ability to build relationships with customers effectively
