A full-time opportunity is currently available in Kingaroy to supervise the daily planning and scheduling of jobs for a team of 5 within a busy STEEL FABRICATION WORKSHOP.

Kewpie is an iconic family-owned Kingaroy business that has been trading in the local area for over 55 years servicing a diverse range of rural interests.
The business is based in Kingaroy and Kewpie Steel is one section of the larger operation servicing the rural sector.
The Duties:
The supervisory position will ensure the productive flow of work through the steel and fabrication business by:
- Scheduling jobs for the workshop and off-site projects to ensure timely and efficient completion.
- Assisting with workshop fabrication and off-site mill and piggery maintenance work.
- Completing documentation for admin support staff to process for invoicing, quotes and orders.
- Supervising up to 5 staff to facilitate timely job and project completion to expected quality standards.
- Liaising as required with both internal and external customers regarding fabrication and maintenance jobs.
- Maintaining quality and safety standards throughout the FABRICATION WORKSHOP and off-site maintenance projects.
Applicants must be able to demonstrate:
- The proven ability to plan, organise and monitor workflow to maximise productivity.
- The ability to work unsupervised with a proactive approach in the workplace.
- A strong commitment to team leadership.
- A high attention to detail.
- The ability to apply quality assurance processes to completed jobs and procedures.
- Proven comprehension and numeracy skills to enable accurate measurements and calculations.
- A minimum “C” class driver licence.
- An absorbing focus on workplace safety.
- Relevant trade qualifications, welder/boilermaker tickets or fabrication experience.
- Workshop experience.
- Current forklift licence.
- An active interest in the rural sector.
An above Award pay rate will be determined by the qualifications, experience and skills of the successful applicant.
