About the Role:
As the Sterilisation ServicesTeam Leader you will be responsible for coordinating and safe and timely disinfection and distribution of medical equipment across our
Your role duties will include:
- Lead the reprocessing of reusable medical devices in compliance with AS/NZS 4187:2014,
- Promote continual improvement among Sterilisation Technicians,
- Ensure adherence to WH&S policies and procedures,
- Collaborate on training and development programs,
- Coordinate with Nurse Managers for timely equipment provision.
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- An AQF Certificate IV or a AQF Cert III and experience and at least 560 hours satisfactory in service experience within a sterilisation department
- Strong communication and leadership skills,
- Attention to detail and a commitment to patient safety,
- The ability to foster a workplace environment that develops staff potential.
