Where you'll be working:
- The successful candidate will work collaboratively with all sterilising and theatre staff to deliver optimal quality of service and maintain healthy relationships with customers.
- The purpose of this position is to ensure all equipment being used in the operating theatres, hospital wards and external customers has been cleaned and sterilised to the highest quality.
- Sterilisation Departments play an essential role in preventing infection in the operating theatre and patient procedure rooms.
- This is a physically demanding role involving shift work including weekends and public holidays between the CSSD department and the operating theatres processing endoscopes at Manning Base Hospital and Gloucester Hospital.
- We are seeking applications from enthusiastic, hardworking team players for a casual pool within our busy Sterilisation Department.
- The successful candidate will be required to enrol in Certificate III in sterilisation services within 12 months and will be encouraged to attend external education workshops and conferences relevant to the position.
