As the Stockroom Manager in Sephora, you are the Inventory Controller and you are fundamental to our business to ensure accurate and appropriate levels of stock are maintained at optimum inventory levels to meet customer demand; whilst additionally ensuring that all products and marketing/animation collateral are properly stored.
You'll play a vital role in:
- Driving scheduled cycle counts to make informed decisions on what stock needs to be adjusted to accurately identify and avoid out of stock SKUs.
- Utilising and working on data and reports to support operational duties to reduce shrinkage loss.
- Consistently monitor and investigate negative stock levels and following up with the team as necessary.
- Implementing a continuous improvement mentality by working in partnership with the Senior Management team, Supply Chain, and Planning team to ensure that business and operational results are achieved
- Serving as the point of contact for distribution of organization of stock levels to make confident stock decisions AD HOC.
- Training and educating the wider team on shrinkage and BOH policies and procedures.
- Processing and replenishing the arrival of stock, and managing returns in a timely manner
- Retrieving necessary stock off the shop floor and liaise with external stockholders for pick-up

We want to hear from you if you:
- Have previous retail stock management experience at a big box retailer
- Are proficient in using the Microsoft Office Suite including SharePoint & SAP (desirable).
- Have a suitable level of physical fitness as you will be lifting and shifting boxes that can weigh up to 15kg.
- Are open to drive operational initiatives including product launches, marketing updates, and support visual merchandising changes to represent the Sephora brand and culture.
- Have a passion to support and lead your team to provide our customers with meaningful in-store experiences to build brand loyalty by tracking stock levels.
- Want to see the success of your leadership by assisting in managing the profit and loss of your store by monitoring stock levels to maximise sales; identify, analyse, and forecast sales or issues.
- Have a passion to maintain a strong and positive culture where everyone is valued, recognized, and enabled to succeed through feedback and career development, coaching, learning, and recognition.
- Value core metrics to measure performance, improve, and achieve Sephora's vision of being the most loved beauty community. You'll also monitor KPIs and help develop store talent.
- You have excellent organizational, analytical, and business management skills
- Have a drive for results with a history of exceeding sales targets and KPI's
As our busiest days of trade are between Thursday to Sunday the ideal candidate will be able to provide 5 full days of availability across key trading times including late-night and weekend availability.
