THE OPPORTUNITY
As the DECJUBA brand continues to grow, we are looking for an experienced Project Manager to join our small but dynamic Store Development team. You will report directly to our Store Development & Design Manager on the project management of our retail store builds across Australia and New Zealand.
Working across multiple sites simultaneously, you will liaise with various individuals and teams to ensure all deadlines are met within the given timeframe and budgets.
You will also be assisting to elevate the instore experience by ensuring the ongoing maintenance needs of existing stores as needed.
This is an initial 12 month fixed term maternity leave contract, with the potential to extend futher.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Build and maintain relationships with our Store Development and Design Manager and external parties to deliver key elements relating to store openings, closures and refits
- Effectively manages own time and resources to ensure that work is completed efficiently and on time & on budget
- Liaise & coordinate with shopfitters, suppliers and landlords to deliver projects on time, within scope and within budget
- Coordinate project plans based on prioritised tasks, available resources, work schedules, and project milestones
- Manage changes to the project scope, project schedule and project costs using appropriate methods
- Report and escalate changes or issues as needed
- Determine alternative solutions and/or course of action when issues arise alongside required parties
- Perform risk management to minimize project risks
- Track project performance, specifically to analyse the successful completion of short and long-term goals
- Prepare project closure reports
- Assist in procurement & tendering process as required
- Assist in ongoing maintenance needs of the stores
ABOUT YOU
- Proven minimum 3-5 years’ experience in retail project management
- Relevant qualification preferred but not essential
- Current driver’s license
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
- Ability to travel across Australia and New Zealand (approximately once a month)
- Agile and adaptable
- Eye for detail and accuracy
- Strong time, budget and people management
- Highly organised
