We are looking for our new STORE MANAGER for our NEW store in Kirrawee which is scheduled to open in late March.
Key Duties & Responsibilities
Store Operations
• Manage all aspects of store operations, including opening and closing procedures, cash handling, and inventory management.
• Ensure cleanliness, organisation, and proper merchandising of the store, creating an appealing shopping environment for our customers.
• Supervise and train store staff, providing coaching and support to ensure the best level of customer service.
Inventory Management
• Oversee inventory levels and ensure stock availability and maximising sales opportunities.
• Coordinate with Purchasing team and suppliers to assist in the ordering of merchandise, considering demand, seasonality, and budgetary guidelines.
• Conduct regular stock counts, reconcile discrepancies, and maintain accurate inventory records.
Customer Service
• Foster a customer-centric culture by leading by example and providing exceptional service to all customers.
• Assist customers in finding the right workwear and safety gear, offering expert advice and recommendations.
• Address customer inquiries, concerns, and complaints in a professional and timely manner.
Sales and Targets
• Drive sales and achieve performance targets, implementing strategies to increase foot traffic and customer conversion rates.
• Monitor sales performance, analyse sales data, and identify trends and opportunities for improvement.
• Develop and implement sales promotions, merchandising displays, and marketing initiatives to attract and retain customers.
Selection Criteria
• Previous experience in retail management.
• Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving store profitability.
Competencies
• Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and manage a team effectively.
• Excellent customer service skills, with a genuine passion for assisting customers and meeting their needs.
• Strong organisational and problem-solving abilities to handle multiple tasks and resolve issues efficiently.
• Solid understanding of retail operations, including inventory management, merchandising, and sales techniques.
• Knowledge of workwear and safety gear products, brands, and market trends.
• Proficient in using point-of-sale (POS) systems and basic computer applications.
• Attention to detail and accuracy, ensuring proper inventory control and financial management.
• Good verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively interact with customers and staff.
