Responsibilities:
- Oversee the day-to-day operations of the store, ensuring a smooth and efficient workflow.
- Create a customer-centric culture, delivering exceptional service and building strong relationships with customers.
- Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve revenue targets and drive business growth.
- Train, motivate, and supervise a team of sales associates, fostering a positive and collaborative work environment.
- Manage inventory levels, including ordering, receiving, and merchandising products to maximise sales potential.
- Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide constructive feedback to staff members to enhance their skills and performance.
- Ensure compliance with all operational policies, procedures, and safety regulations.
- Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and requests, resolving issues promptly and professionally.
- Collaborate with the Visual Merchandising team to develop and execute promotional activities and events.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years of retail management experience, preferably in a toy store or similar retail environment.
- Passion for toys, games, and child development.
- Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
- Strong sales acumen and a proven track record of achieving sales targets.
- Exceptional customer service skills, with a focus on creating memorable shopping experiences.
- Proficient in inventory management, including ordering, receiving, and stock control.
- Strong organisational and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work a fixed schedule (Tuesday to Saturday).
