As the Store Manager at one of Australia's leading Equestrian and Saddlery stores, you will play a pivotal role in leading and managing the daily operations of a shop lying at the heart of Canberra's equestrian community.We are seeking a dynamic and experienced individual with a deep understanding of the equestrian industry, close ties within the community, and excellent leadership skills. Be the local expert in saddlery, rider gear, care accessories, horse feed and health, farrier equipment, and stable necessities!
As the Store Manager, you will...
- Supervise a team of dedicated sales associates, fostering a positive and collaborative work environment.
- Ensure an exceptional customer experience by maintaining high standards of service, and implement strategies to enhance customer loyalty and satisfaction.
- Oversee inventory control and stock replenishment processes, whilst implementing efficient merchandising strategies to maximise sales.
- Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve and exceed revenue targets.
- Maintain a clean, organised, and visually appealing store environment. Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures, managing day-to-day store operations efficiently.
What we’re looking for:
- Previous management experience, preferably in a retail setting.
- Knowledge of equestrian products and equipment.
- Personal experience in horse ownership, and involvement in the local equestrian community.
- Proven ability to lead and motivate a team through strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Detail-oriented with strong organisational and multitasking abilities.
