About the Role
In the role of Store Manager, your primary focus will be to lead a successful team to maximise the sales and profitability of the newly completed Mt Gambier Store.
How will you do this?
- By providing visible leadership and demonstrating a commitment to safety while creating a culture of recognition and achievement where all team members and customers feel values, respected and welcomed at our store
- Ensuring that the Store is effectively managed and maintained at all times
- Striving to increase the performance standards by meeting all company and legislative requirements
- Providing and ensuring our team members are providing G.R.E.A.T customer service at all times
- By taking a proactive approach when it comes to merchandising and stock movement
- By managing budgets and rosters for the store
- Promoting the business through execution of marketing strategies and programmes and building relationships with current and new customers
What skills and experience are we looking for?
We are looking for a personable, proactive leader who will guide, mentor and support the team to bring their best selves to work every day.
This leader will have a proven commercial and business acumen background with the ability to mentor others to understand the requirements of the business. A customer centric mindset is an absolute must and the ability to thinking outside the box will see you succeed in the role.
Previous experience within a Retail supervisory or management role will put you in good stead in being considered for this role.
A certificate in Retail Management and a clear understanding of DIY and trade would be advantageous but for the right candidate we can provide you with these development opportunities.
