Village Bakehouse is looking for a full-time Store Supervisor to assist training and supervising team members within our Orange store.
Reporting to the Store Manager, you will assist in training and supervising team leaders and team members within Village Bakehouse Orange. You will use your extensive supervising experience to train, promote and support team members to be as passionate about our smooth Village Bakehouse coffee blend, flaky croissants and our other delicious menu items as you are!
You will be a driven Store Supervisor and will use your initiative to develop and cultivate an inclusive, supportive and exciting working environment.
ABOUT THE ROLE
In your role as a Store Supervisor your key responsibilities for the role include but are not limited to:
- Supervise Team Leaders and Team Members to ensure that customers are being provided with the highest quality customer service.
- Communicate with the Store Manager on ordering of stock, equipment and materials as well as labour resources, rostering/scheduling and the activities/duties of Team Leaders and Team Members.
- Ensure that Work Health and Safety standards and policies are adhered to and following up on any reported issues or concerns
ABOUT YOU
The perfect Store Supervisor will have previous café or bakery supervising experience with a genuine passion for customer service and holds a special combo of the right skills, experience and attitude:
- You hold a Food Safety/Food Handling Certificate (preferred but not essential) – if you do not hold a Certificate then you are willing to obtain one.
- Your previous leadership and supervising experience will give you the confidence to step into the role and make an immediate impact.
- You are a people person who’ll love developing relationships with regular customer and working with Village Bakehouse Dubbo’s team members and will ensure customers leave with a smile!
- Your organisational and coordination abilities ensure that when things are busy it doesn’t get you down because you can easily prioritise to make sure everything gets done.
- Most of all, you love Village Bakehouse and the food we produce as much as we do and you want to be a part of a team that is warm and family focused.
- You are flexible with your availability.
- To assist you in your training and development, you will be trained and mentored within our busy Village Bakehouse Dubbo or Orang store. Accommodation, meal allowance and travel allowance and will be provided.
