The Storesperson role plays an important part in ensuring retailers and general consumers receive critical products that meet Australian standards. Working within a close-knit team, you will contribute to the positive work-culture and effective operations on site.
Key responsibilities for the role:
- Efficiently unloading loading of trucks and containers.
- Receive and dispatch stock.
- Safely operating a forklift to move and manage inventory (preferred but not essential)
- Skillfully sorting and picking stock to fulfill orders accurately.
- Undertake housekeeping duties.
- Adhere to work health and safety policies and procedures.
- Maintain clean work environment
To be considered for this role:
- Previous experience in a warehouse or logistics environment
- Sound knowledge of warehouse operations.
- Physical stamina and ability to lift heavy objects, as well as stand, walk, and bend for extended periods.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in handling products and maintaining records.
- Strong organisational and time management skills to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines.
- Good communication skills to collaborate effectively with colleagues and clients.
- A valid LF licence with previous forklift experience (desireable, but not essential)
