The Storeperson will be responsible for completing and coordinating supply tasks at our Kunwarara stores to support operational requirements. This position with be a twelve (12) month fixed term contract based at our Kunwarara Operations, 65km north of Rockhampton.

About The Role
As the Storeperson you will be involved in:
- Full responsibility and accountability of Stock and Inventory Management through warehouse transactions.
- Completion of stores and inventory tasks as directed by the Procurement Lead or other members of the Management Team.
- Perform and supervise the materials receiving and dispatch functions.
- Ensure safe and efficient inventory storage management.
- To uphold the highest standards with general housekeeping and work area maintenance.
- To serve as the main contact for coordination and control of material deliveries to Kunwarara.
- To optimise racking and stores floor storage to ensure safe and efficient storage practice.
- To report stores inventory discrepancies to the Procurement Lead and to maintain appropriate levels of stock in conjunction with the Purchasing and Docuware Controller.
The Requirements
We are looking for people with the following:
- Current LF Forklift License or Ticket (Essential)
- Stores experience in a mining or heavy industrial environment is highly desirable.
