About the role
We are seeking to fill a pivotal role which includes:
- Warehouse Management – Ensure products are received into store and customer orders are fulfilled in a timely and accurate manner while maintaining a clean and well organised warehouse.
- Service Delivery – Provide consistently friendly and professional service to customers via email, telephone and during the occasional delivery of products – setting LEAP apart from other Suppliers.
- Team Collaboration – While this is a very autonomous role, working constructively and collaboratively alongside your colleagues is also very important.
- Freight Optimisation - Ensure the best freight rates are used to send out our orders and work with our freight suppliers to provide weekly/monthly delivery performance data to ensure they remain accountable with their delivery promises.
- OH&S - Ensure Warehouse and work practices comply with all company/legislative policies and procedures.
Salary Package
A salary package will be offered based on your experience including base salary plus superannuation, a mobile telephone, and appropriate work attire.
Skills and experience
- A clean driver's license
- A forklift operator's license
- Previous warehouse experience
- Basic computer skills
- Able to work efficiently and follow through effectively on tasks
- Attention to detail
- Willingness to learn new skills
- Tidy in nature
Key responsibilities and duties:
- Manage the daily movement of stocks within the warehouse
- Entering customer orders, goods received and stock info into accounting system
- Picking / packing and dispatch of customer orders
- Receiving and stacking stock on shelves
- Load / unload of trucks
- Freight dispatch
- Stocktake
- Some administrative tasks including filing of orders and freight management
- Maintaining a clean and well organised warehouse
Initiative and an autonomous work ethic is important, as well as the ability to work well as part of a team.

The role is 5 days per week. Working hours are 8am to 4pm.
