We have an opportunity for a Human Resources Officer to join our Human Resources (HR) team on a permanent full-time basis.
About this Role
As Human Resources Officer, you'll be responsible for providing high level administrative and technical support to the HR team and Manager People & Culture. You will work with all levels of staff to build effective relationships and provide fundamental HR services whilst operating as an integral member of the team, contributing to the achievement of the People & Culture department's objectives.
About You
In this role, you'll have the chance to directly influence and contribute to the delivery of excellent customer service. Your expertise will see you confidently provide support and advice in all areas of HR administration and processes.
With a broad range of actions and projects to work on, every day brings opportunity to develop your skills in the administration of HR functions.
You will have:
- Tertiary qualification in HR or a relevant field, or lesser formal qualifications with considerable experience in a HR role.
- An interest in ongoing professional development and building on existing knowledge in the HR field.
- A passion for delivering exceptional customer service.
- Demonstrated interpersonal skills to engage with staff and leaders.
- A high attention to detail with an ability to write reports and prepare correspondence.
- Demonstrated understanding of relevant HR legislation and experience working within established policies and procedures.
- Relevant work experience within large organisations or Local Government is also desirable.
