ABOUT THE ROLE:
Reporting to the Warehouse Supervisor, you will primarily support the operational efficiency of our Warehouse Team. You will have close liaison with the distribution department, as well as involvement across other business units.
DUTIES:
- Daily conduction of the physically receipting goods in the warehouse, including the put-away.
- Pick and pack of the customer orders as presented on pick tickets
- Checking on packing consumables
- Booking of freight providers
- Stock checks of inventory in the warehouse as per cycle count program
- Where possible facilitate the re-use of used packing material
- Operation of materials handling equipment both licensed and unlicensed as required.
- Responsible for the quality of your own work, including the ability to follow direction and understanding of detailed
- instructions from Work Instructions located in CIPM.
- General housekeeping in work environment
- Attend and participate in staff tool box meetings.
ABOUT YOU:
Experience with dealing with cold chain, dangerous goods or equipment will assist with this position.
Attention to detail, versatility and getting it ‘right first time’ are critical components of this highly rewarding role. Experience in cold chain, dangerous goods, or equipment will assist with this position.
A can-do attitude and a customer focused approach will ensure key outcomes are achieved from the “heart” of our Distribution Operation.
- Demonstrated experience in warehouse operations as a Store Worker II.
- Leadership or managerial experience is beneficial
- A current and valid LF license
- Dynamics AX ERP is beneficial
- Ability to be both collaborative and autonomous
- Excellent stakeholder management skills
- Significant aptitude for organisation and administrative skills
