About the job
The Stores Officer assists to ensure that operational requirements are met through the timely, efficient and accurate ordering, receipt, storage, distribution of stock. A key focus for the position is to ensure orders are placed in time to support critical operational activities. Responsibilities include:
- Assisting with Warehousing/Inventory /Stock Control including correct storage and handling of goods.
- Receipt of goods, including unloading trucks.
- Purchasing, ordering and invoicing.
- Liaising with operational and other key teams/managers.
- Compliance with WHS, Food Safety and Quality standards.
About you
You have:
- Relevant experience in a stores officer or similar role.
- Experiencein managing and maintaining inventories.
- Well developedcommunication skills both verbal and written
- Excellentorganisational, planning and scheduling skills.
- Outstandingattention to detail.
- Abilityto work effectively in a team environment and with all levels of anorganisation
- Forklift licence and experience.
- Commitmentto Costa values, to model those behaviours at work and ensure team behavioursalign with those values.
- Computerskills with the capacity to use or learn systems. Experience in SAP is desirablebut not essential.
- Commitment toWHS, Food Safety and Quality standards.
- Willingness to be flexible with work hours and be responsive to the day to day needs of the business including the ability to work an occassional weekend.

About the Tomato Category
Our tomatoes are grown 365 days per year in one of Australia’s largest and most advanced glasshouse facilities, located at Guyra, in the beautiful New England Tablelands region of NSW.
To accommodate our continued business growth, a $67 million expansion project has been completed, increasing our production area by 33% and creating an additional 150 jobs onsite. This expansion project brings our onsite operation to 40ha of glasshouse, 2.5ha propagation nursery, 2 large packing facilities and over 800 staff.
Our state-of-the-art glasshouse technology puts Costa Tomatoes at the forefront of innovation in ecologically sustainable practices and sets us apart in the fruit and vegetable industry.
We currently grow 9 varieties of tomatoes including large truss, cocktail truss and small snacking.
