About the Business
Our Community and Aboriginal Partnerships Division helps to build community safety and wellbeing by providing support and services to children, young people and families, including those in the youth justice system, remote Aboriginal communities and people with complex and exceptional needs.
Role Details
The Stores Officer is a role within Kurlana Tapa Youth Justice Centre and is accountable to the Catering and Stores Supervisor for:
• Contributing to the provision of a high quality, efficient and effective Stores and Waste Management service to the Kurlana Tapa Youth Justice Centre (KTYJC).
• Maintaining an appropriate level of security in a custodial environment.
Special Conditions
National Police Check required.
Employment-related Screening Check required.
Some out of hours work may be required.
Some interstate and intrastate travel may be required.
Must hold a current Australian issued driver’s licence (equivalent to minimum class C).
Tertiary qualification in a relevant discipline or equivalent level of expertise gained from a combination of experience, training or professional accreditation is desirable.
Role Status: Term up to 10/01/2025
Salary Range: $56,553.88-$57,164.23 (GSE4)
