Our clients are currently looking for a Strategic Asset Manager for an ongoing project. The role is towards the development and implementation of Strategic Asset Management Plans and processes to always ensure that, assets are Fit for Intended Purpose; and meets the requirements of all applicable Laws, manufacturers' recommendations, any applicable Health Policies and all applicable Quality Standards.
The responsibilities of the position include but not limited to:
- Lead a team of Asset Managers in providing quality asset data to internal and external stakeholders
- Establishing an asset register within the Computerised Maintenance Management System (CMMS) and working with the planning team to ensure that their asset performance is optimised and that maintenance costs are minimised. As well ensuring accuracy and integrity of all data
- Oversee Asset Management Plans and integration into service methodologies that will assist in delivering lower whole of life cost and reduced risk
- Developing and implementing asset condition auditing program
- Overseeing lifecycle planning activities that will enhance facility sustainability, minimise reactive maintenance and disruption to core services
- Conducting Asset Criticality Assessments of assets and identifying and implementing appropriate controls where necessary (critical spares, contingency plans, BMS monitoring etc.)
- Ensuring all Plans are developed and implemented in accordance with the strategies and KPI targets
- Produce Method of Work Plans (MOWP’s) for all front of house activities or work that has potential to cause disruption to stakeholders
- Train staff in asset condition auditing processes and procedures, including the use of field mobility
- Assisting the Operations Manager and Service Delivery Leads in performance reporting, identifying gaps in service and areas for improvements, and making decisions about asset replacement and disposal
- Provide monthly reporting on the planned preventative maintenance program and on scheduled future works so that stakeholders can provide input into maintenance schedules to minimise disruption to Agency.
Skills and experience:
- To be successful in this role you will have experience in a similar Strategic Asset Manager role , working with a big portfolio with remote management operations as well the ability to demonstrate strong analytical and strategic thinking that will ensure your success in this role.
- Experience working with data and providing insights
- Experience in facilities management is a bonus, point it out if you have.
- Experience using Strategic Asset management tools and systems such as SAP, Tririga, Maximo, PowerBI, ServiceNow etc
- Ability to engage with stakeholders at all levels
- Strong knowledge of Australian Standards and compliance / regulations
