THE OPPORTUNITY

An exceptional chance to utilise your networking expertise to spearhead strategic sales endeavors and profoundly influence our client's business expansion! Drive Success in this Role With Earning Potential of $200k! Collaborating closely with the National Sales and Marketing Manager, you'll address market challenges, enhance market strategies, cultivate relationships, drive sales, and significantly contribute to our client's growth objectives. Your focus will be on networking, fostering growth, and nurturing lasting partnerships with key stakeholders.

Key areas of responsibility:

  • Sales Target: Achieve an average annual sales target of $12 million, with a focus on larger projects exceeding the $1 million mark.
  • Pipeline Management: Develop and maintain a robust sales pipeline, understanding the variability of project sales cycles and ensuring high conversion rates.
  • Strategic Planning: Implement strategies to protect pricing and gross margins, balancing profitability with competitiveness.
  • Data Utilisation: Use data analysis and CRM tools to improve decision-making and performance. 
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Communicate effectively with diverse internal and external stakeholders, becoming a trusted advisor and subject matter expert.
  • Sales Enablement: Use sales enablement tools and CRM systems to streamline processes and optimise efficiency.

ABOUT YOU

You're deeply passionate about fostering business growth in the commercial construction sector and strive to be an expert in your field! Your extensive understanding of our client's market and robust network within the construction industry will be instrumental in excelling in this vital sales position.

To be successful, you will need to demonstrate:

  • Experience in commercial (industrial) construction is essential (experience with commercial sheds will be highly regarded).
  • Consistent achievement of meeting annual targets of $12 million or more and projects exceeding $1 million.
  • Possess a strong drive, hunger for success and to be an expert in your field.
  • Proficient in modern sales techniques, including engagement, relationship-building, and network management.
  • Experienced in developing and managing sales pipelines from inception to delivery.
  • Ability to navigate project sales cycles effectively.
  • Proficiency in prioritising profitability whilst maintaining competitiveness in the market.
  • Familiarity with sales tools, CRM systems, software, and data analysis.
  • Possession of a valid driver's license and willingness to travel for Business Development.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Results-oriented mindset, setting clear goals and being accountable for outcomes.
